The King's Speech is a positive movie. It is about relationship between 2 people from very different backgrounds - one a King, and the other, a commoner. The 'stammer' represents the struggle. Each human faces various struggles in their life. Some of us find it difficult to overcome some of the impediments. And, we meet someone who helps us out as a mentor, or a friend. But, it is not enough meeting some good soul. Can we open up ourselves and allow the goodwill to reach us? Or, we just close our hearts and miss the opportunity? The speech therapist did not have any certificate or a formal degree. His experience with World War I soldiers was his certificate. Many software companies, especially in India, insist on degrees or certificates. But, there are many who have done quality work but don't have any formal stamp. So, dear companies seeking certified employees - wake up!!
